'Jesus People' Nashville Screening

Music industry insiders are invited to attend a screening of Jesus People, a hilarious new film set in the world of Christian dance-pop, starring dozens of Hollywood’s brightest character actors from such movies as Austin Powers, The Brady Bunch Movie, Knocked Up and TV series like Will & Grace, Reno 911, and The Sarah Silverman Program.

The movie recently premiered in Los Angeles and is being hailed for its strong, ensemble of improvisational actors. “Their cast is a comedic clan even Judd Apatow and Christopher Guest would have to admire,” says Marc Hustvedt of Tubefilter.

Considering the subject matter of the film, national religious press is also paying attention. “Will anyone ever make a Christian version of Spinal Tap?” asks Brett McCracken of Christianity Today, continuing, “For fans of the Christopher Guest-style mockumentary (Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman) who have grown up in the easily parodied evangelical subculture, we now have an answer. And its name is Jesus People.”

This is a one time screening in Nashville, Tuesday, April 21st. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the film shows promptly at 7:30 and ends at 9. Trailer at JesusPeopleFilm.com

Seats are filling quickly at the Belcourt Theatre so RSVP to info@jesuspeoplefilm.com & get your free industry tickets today.
