Sudanese Center Honors Community Leaders


The Sudanese Community and Women's Service Center hosted a reception last night at the Center at 3221 Nolensville Pike. Executive Director Gat Thach, the Staff and Volunteers acknowledged and thanked several Leaders for their benevolent work toward the defeat of the "English First" Amendment and shared how this defeat actually effects the Center and its Programs. The Honored Leaders pictured here are: Ralph Schultz-Nashville Chamber of Commerce, Avi Poster-Coalition for Education on Immigration, Renata de Soto-Conexion America, Mike Kopp-Conexion America Board, Jim Hester-Mayor's Office, Gatluak Thach, Stephen Fotopolus-TIRRC, Greg Ramos-attorney and Conexion America President, Howard Gentry-Nashville Chamber of Commerce.
