Dry Creek Drum PowWow

Dry Creek Medicine a Native American drum and song group will hold a pow-wow dance and flute music exhibit at 6565 Lonesome Pine Trail, Greeneville, TN to raise money for Mike and Nancy Saunders on the 20th. Of Dec. from noon until four and on the 21st. from noon until four. In addition on the morning of the 21st. at sunrise their will be a ceremony to welcome the Indian new year, with a call to heal Mother Earth and all her children. Followed by telling of stories about growing up in a Indian household and what medicine means.

Mike Saunders has stage 4 Lung Cancer and Nancy Saunders just got out of the hospital after a heart attack and five stints. They have two school age children and right now, no income so please come and help put a smile on Christmas. Come even if you can't donate, we need help in making this a success.

This will be held on the site of a former Cherokee village and signs will direct you from either I-81 exit 30 or 70 N from 11-E in Greeneville. Please come and please give, this is what neighbors are supposed to do for each other.
