Village Annual Arts Festival

Nashville, TN. The Village Cultural Arts Center, located at 340 W. Trinity Lane, Nashville, TN is hosting the 1ST Annual Arts Festival October 5 - 7. Friday, October 5th the Village Drum and Dance Ensemble will mesmerize audiences with the folkloric drum and dance traditions of West Africa. Saturday, October 6th The Village presents FOUND MOVEMENT. FOUND blends the traditions of modern dance with innovative interpretations that will leave audiences spellbound. FOUND is the newest addition to The Village performance arts as well as the Nashville dance arts community. Sunday, October 7th will give Nashville the opportunity to learn from the choreographers of these two companies. Master dance classes will be offered from 1:00 - 5:00. The cost for Friday night is $10, a $15.00 donation is requested for the Saturday performance and the master classes are $15 each. Special package rates are available by contacting Cynthia at 228-9553. Doors will open at 6:15 for Friday and Saturday performances. Seating is limited.
