Memphis Activists Plan Bush Protest

On Monday, October 15th between 2pm and 4pm activists in Memphis will gather to say "Trillions for War; for Our Children Not a Dollar More." President Bush is in Memphis attending a $1,000 a plate fundraiser for the Re-election of Senator Alexander (R-TN.) In the four hours that they will be wining and dining we will have spent $12,000,000 on the war in Iraq. The activists plan to hold a sidewalk protest on the sidewalks immediately East and West of Central and Goodwyn and encourage people to gather in front of the Pink Palace, 3050 Central Ave. Parking available on the residential streets to the north of Central.
